T-Mobile has slashed the price of the LG G2x to free for today and tomorrow only

Had your eyes on the LG G2x? If the answer to this question is yes, you might want to check out T-Mobile’s own website as they now have the G2x on sale for free  with a two-year T-Mobile contract. A great deal!

Since the handset is powered by the NVIDIA Tegra 2, you’ll get access to all of the games that are optimized for the processor. The selection isn’t very large at the moment, but it’s growing more and more every day. Currently, Tegra Zone features about 25-30 major games which is really pretty good.

Designed by LG, the G2x runs Android 2.3 and is powered by a dual-core Tegra 2 processor. It also has an 8-megapixel camera, 512MB of RAM, and full HDMI. It is probably the fastest phone I have ever used.

I should also mention that this deal doesn’t apply to upgrades, only new customers get this price. Upgrades will have to pay a slightly lower discount rate of $149.99.

This deal will only last today and tomorrow, so those interested should get the move on as soon as possible.

Sprint’s Samsung Epic 4G Touch on pre-order sale from Wirefly for $149.99

Sprint’s Samsung Epic 4G Touch is available for pre-order from Wirefly for $50 off

The Samsung Epic 4G Touch (aka Sprint’s variant of the Samsung Galaxy S II) is available for pre-order from Wirefly for only $149.99.

That’s $50 off the price Sprint will sell the highly anticipated smartphone for when it hits store shelves in the next couple of weeks, SprintFeed reports.

In other words, early adopters get a break for once. And by early I mean early for North America. The Galaxy S II has been available in Europe for quite some time.

Still, this is definitely a big deal becaue that $149.99 will buy you a lot of smartphone for your money. The specs on the Samsung Epic 4G Touch include a 4.52-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, a dual-core 1.2 GHz processor, an 8 megapixel rear camera, 2 megapixel front-facing camera, Gingerbread 2.3.4 and, of course, Sprint’s 4G WiMAX connectivity.

If you are interested in the phone on Sprint, it’s probably a good idea to head on over to Wirefly and jump on this one – there’s no telling how long the deal will last.

Sporting a 4.3-inch qHD display, the Amaze 4G is HTC’s fastest phone yet

Hot on the heels of last week’s HTC Ruby/Amaze 4G leak, more images of T-Mobile’s upcoming Android smartphone from HTC have been posted online.

Obtained by Thai-language Android news site Droid Sans, the images while they may be a bit blurry, show us more than anything we’ve seen thus far. This will be the fastest phone launched to date by HTC packing a speedy 1.5 Ghz dual-core CPU and 1GB of ram.

Highlights also include a 4.3-inch qHD display, a dual-core 1.5GHz processor, an 8-megapixel camera, 16GB of storage, 1GB of RAM and HSPA+ 42 compatibility for use on T-Mobile’s network, among others. These specs all match up with details reported on by tech site BGR late last month.

This is My Next reports that the Amaze is running Android 2.3 Gingerbread with Sense 3.5, though Sense doesn’t appear to be enabled on the prototype in the photographs.

For now that is all the details and specs we have but should be seeing and hopefully hearing more shortly. Last time we saw the Amaze 4G in white so chances are we might be seeing multiple colors offered at launch. Stay tuned for more details.

Watch this space.
