Billed as having “the most advanced camera of any smartphone”, the myTouch 4G Slide can be yours for $199.99 on a new two-year agreement

Interested in picking up T-Mobile’s MyTouch 4G Slide and don’t want to wait for it to show up in stores on July 27th? Well then, today is your lucky day as you can now place your order on T-Mobile website.

Powered by Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread, the 4G Slide sports a 3.7-inch SLCD display and a dual-core Qualcomm processor. The device features a very high level 8-megapixel shooter which is capable of shooting 1080p HD video. It’s actually the same camera that is found in the Nokia N9, so expect great shots.

Full features for the camera include:

  • Improved low-light Performance: with a backside illuminated sensor and a wide aperture lens
  • Zero shutter lag: innovative software features allow for an instantaneous shot
  • SweepShot: for capturing panoramic shots by sweeping across an entire scene in a single motion
  • ClearShot HDR: for capturing objects in bright settings
  • BurstShot: for capturing multiple photos in a quick burst so you don’t miss a good shot

While I haven’t seen the 4G Slide in person, it seems like a great follow up to the original myTouch Slide. The camera alone will make it a real show-stopper.

Stay tuned for a full review from us in the coming weeks.
