Handset selection for T-Mobile customers is about to get better than ever
TmoNews is reporting via a leaked internal T-Mobile document that the Samsung Hercules and the HTC Ruby are both set to launch on October 26th. Both devices will utilize the carriers 4G network and will be two of the fastest handsets on the market.
While details are not known, the Hercules is expected to be T-Mobile’s version of the dead sexy Galaxy S II, which Samsung will officially announce on August 29th. It will of course sport a dual-core processor, Android 2.3, HSPA+, a Super AMOLED Plus display and perhaps NFC.
Unlike the international Galaxy S II model, the Hercules will most likely sport a larger 4.5-inch display. The Hercules will also likely launch in Canada on TELUS.
The Ruby will launch as the more powerful successor to the Sensation. It will be equipped with a 4.3-inch display, a dual-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, and possibly HTC Sense 3.5. As SlashGear reports, the Ruby will bring the greatness of the Sensation and Slide 4G together into one.
Pricing for both devices is not known at this time, but considering that these will be very high-end handsets, expect the normal 200 dollar price range.
That said, any T-Mobile customers out there as excited as I am? Would you leave Verizon or AT&T for your very own Hercules?
