Powered by a 1.5GHz single-core processor, the Windows Phone 7 Eternity will run Windows Phone Mango directly out of the box

Official press shots of the upcoming HTC Eternity have been leaked. Obtained by HTC enthusiast site HTC Inside, the images will no doubt make any Windows Phone fan drool with excitement as they anxiously await Mango.

According to the leaked press page, the Eternity will sport a 4.7-inch WVGA display, a 1.5GHz Qualcomm processor, and feature a piano black finish. The device is also rumored to have 512MB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and will feature am 8-megapixel camera. The Eternity actually looks to be a larger, faster HTC HD7S, which launched on AT&T earlier this year.

Like most rumored/leaked handsets, HTC has provided little to no information on the device. Other than the leaked shot and press page, nothing is official at all. We’re actualy still waiting on an official confirmation that the device will in fact land.

Presumably, we will see much more on Mango, the HTC Eternity, and leaked Mango handsets in the coming months as Microsoft races to get the Windows Phone Mango update out the door.
