
Google has revealed that the Google+ iPhone app has already been submitted to Apple for approval
If you are an iPhone owner that was lucky enough to get in on the Google+ private beta before the invite process was shut down because of “overwhelming demand”, chances are you won’t have to wait for an official app very long.
Google technician Erica Joy revealed in a post on her Google+ account that an iPhone app has already been submitted to Apple for approval.
According to Mashable’s estimates, that means the app will likely be released sometime within the next two weeks.
A Google+ app has been available on Android devices for some time, but iPhone owners have been forced to make due with an incomplete mobile web app experience.
So far, the Google+ service appears to be a solid effort but, as we noted earlier, the service is likely to live and die based on its mobile capabilities.
