Can I use a data cable to connect Sony ericsson j230i phone with computer?

when i tried to connect my sony ericsson j230i phone to my computer the phone displayed a error message that saying “Unsupported accessory” . I used a data cable which came for Sony ericsson k530i phone. Should I need a special data cable for j230i?

    nopes mate, you cant connect a ‘Sony ericsson j230i’ to your computer.. and no such data cable for this device is easily available in market either.. moreover the phone has less than 500kb memory with no card slot, what would you do connecting this phone to a PC anyway!? :)
